Fujinomiya-guchi Climbing Route and nearby area

    Fujinomiya-guchi Climbing Route and nearby areaIt takes approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes by bus from JR Shinfuji Station, 1 hour and 45 minutes from JR Fujinomiya Station or 2 hours and 15 minutes from JR Mishima Station to reach Fujinomiya-guchi Gogoume. There are a number of hiking courses in the area from Taroubou to the East, Nishiusuzuka in the West, to Fujinomiya-guchi Gogoume.

Mt.Hoei - Gotenniwa - Mizugazuka Route

    This is an easy half-day to one-day route starting from the parking lot at Mizugazuka. Climbers can park their cars or take a bus from Mishima Station. After walking along the Hoei Trail, you can look down at Hoei Crater. The route then leads into a great natural park called Gotenniwa. The ridge is a Karamatsu (Japanese larch) forest while the lower altitude areas are plantations.
